Artist Statement
Angi has been working with stained glass since 1996. Her work is mainly via commissions for new stained glass windows, in traditional and contemporary styles, although a fair proportion of her work is also renovating and repairing original windows in period properties. She works closely with clients on pattern and colours to ensure that they feel part of the process of creating something unique that suits their property.
For Open Studios she makes stained glass-framed mirrors in many different styles and sizes, which can be purchased from stock, or can be commissioned to order. In addition, she makes fused-glass jewellery with sterling silver fittings.
She teaches stained glass classes part-time at Morley College in Waterloo for both beginners and intermediate students.
