Camberwell Arts Open Studios returns to SE5 this December! For two weekends, Camberwell's artists, makers and creators will once again open their doors to art lovers, collectors and gift seekers where everything you can image will be on show: Jewellery, paintings, textiles, fashion, photography, ceramics, homewears, accessories and more

Vanguard Court was once owned by Robert & John White, makers of R Whites lemonade, and also saw the building of London's first omnibuses around 1900 and later, the manufacture of Vanguard Luggage until the 1980s. Now home to a buzzing, creative, and collegiate community of like-minded creative makers, it has gained an enviable reputation over the last thirty years as a unique creative community, with occupants including Turner Prize shortlisted artists.

The Remakery is a co-operative workshop space that diverts valuable waste materials away from landfill and supports our local community in increasing their skills, confidence and employment opportunities. How it works - we provide workspace and access to materials and tools. Remakers – local residents, makers, artists and businesses – then use them to create products, art and enterprises. Any profit in our business is recycled to subsidise Remakery membership and social programmes for those at a disadvantage in our community. We are a Society for the Benefit of the Community, a form of co-operative. We aim to be transparent and honest in how we do things and make ethically-based decisions.
