Camberwell Arts Open Studios, returns to SE5 this December!
For two weekends, Camberwell's artists and makers will be opening their studio doors so you can visit their creatives spaces, and find unique jewellery, paintings, textiles, fashion, photography, ceramics, homewares, accessories and more.
The Arches Peckham

Way back in 1990 a dozen graduates from Central St Martins & Camberwell art colleges simultaneously and coincidentally decided to set up their studios in the railway arches of Blenheim Court. We currently number 25 artists and makers, working in a wide variety of disciplines, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, metalwork, cabinet making, and a large number of ceramicists. We hope you will visit our hidden world to see why we love our yard so much.

Vanguard Court

Vanguard Court was once owned by Robert & John White, makers of R Whites lemonade, and also saw the building of London's first omnibuses around 1900 and later, the manufacture of Vanguard Luggage until the 1980s. Now home to a buzzing, creative, and collegiate community of like-minded creative makers, it has gained an enviable reputation over the last thirty years as a unique creative community, with occupants including Turner Prize shortlisted artists.

Home to a diverse range of artists, designers and makers, Empress Mews Studios has become recognised as an innovating force in the creative Camberwell community. Visitors to our open studios enjoy the tranquil courtyard setting and the friendly collaboration amongst the exhibitors. The work on show encompasses gift and homewares, art prints, photography, painting, sculpture, fashion textiles, jewellery - even traditional Norwegian crafts.
